libjopendocument-java software package provides pure Java library for OASIS Open Document files manipulation, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjopendocument-java
libjopendocument-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjopendocument-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjopendocument-java *
You will get with libjopendocument-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
